I am a devoted reader of Hannah Ford, but as with a lot of other readers, I'm really getting close to just not reading her things anymore. She never finished What He Wants, which I paid for a lot of the 27 installments, and now is this is the 2cnd series where you pay $2.99 for less than 50 pages, and she didn't finish the series before this one either. Each book seems to advance the story and characters less and less. I've even tried sending an email looking for a response on if she will ever finish What He Wants. I never received a response, which I didn't expect a direct response from the author, but if they give you a contact address a response from some representative at some point should be expected. Those were my favorite books. They weren't long novels, but certainly not short like what the author is releasing now. I understand if the author wants to move to coffee break style books, which are shorter and have easier stopping points to be read on breaks or when a reader has less time, but less than 50 pages, no real advancing in character or storyline, and maybe a slight, and I do mean slight tease to get you to the next book is not worth the cost of these books. I have to say I'm disappointed and would really hate to have to move on from an author that I have bought every book and dearly loved for a long time!
I to have read all the books up to this one. I really would like to finish out this series but (I CAN'T) pay any more for 48 pages of text. Why does this author not put this on Kindle Unlimited beats the crap out of me! So just to let you know.....you have gotten the last $2.99 out of me and from reading other post, looks like I'm not the only one!
Stopped reading this book at (6). Not putting the whole book on at a fair price became a big turn off for me. There are so many books on Amazon to choose from that are good stories with great characters that I can choose to read. Why choose an author with a average story and a big price...sorry, not gonna do it.
Like the other reviews for this book/author I totally agree. The books are short and the cost is more than I would pay for a paperback of longer length in a store for the entire series at this point. I’d love to read it, but not willing to pay $3 for another book I can read in less than an hour. Not worth the read. If it was on Kindle Unlimited, that would be another thing.
Why are you charging 2.99 for 48 page book? I want to read it but 2or 3 buck can buy a couple of frozen bags of food. Kindle books should be more affordable.
this author never finishes a series. you are not only paying a fortune for a chapter but it jist goes on and on. she is only interested in the money.
